How to fix shaders always compiling on client start?

Read that some people don't have this happen - any fix to the shaders compiling on every game launch?

Is this a bug - have they addressed it?

Shouldn't it compile once and not again til a graphics driver update?

You can't because that's how modern gaming is now. I don't think I've played a new game that didn't do this upon every startup.

Nah it's not a massive deal or anything but I like tweaking my games for quality of life stuff - removing startup videos, fine tuning settings, performance tweaks, etc. Just would be nice is all ;)

Crashes are a thing, when the game crashes and you have to re-enter the game fast to get into the game again, it is a massive deal whether you have to wait minutes in order to join, get your head out of your ass, smart ass.

Yeah it's honestly a joke. There's no reason for it. But the more you put into this game the worse you realize it is, especially if you don't have high end hardware. UE5 with such a normie appealing game is just bizarre. It's ultimately on hardware vendors that refuse to have reasonable prices though

you have to launch the game from the marvelrivals launcher instead of steam. manage and browse local files to find it. worked like a charm for me
