As a fun fact, you can move where your first portal is without moving Strange toward a cliff.
The front of the first portal is the back of the second, so face the back of the second portal in the direction of a wall out of bounds to trick them into thinking they are facing toward something real.
If you know the enemy team has a Doctor Strange while you are on Defense, sometimes they will try to portal cheese at the beginning, so you can place the first portal off the map, and wait a bit with your second portal in front of their Strange that is making a portal. Their team will think the portal that shows up belongs to their Strange so they'll trust it and hop in.
