But I have noticed quick play has a very low tick rate. When you play competitive the tick rate skyrockets.
This could be either from the crossplay or having bots in the game in quick play.
I have lost matches because I will get teleported off the cart while in overtime ect. It is super annoying. Then my team screams at me like I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, but I didn't. I watch the replay... Shows me walking off the point. Not teleporting.
Singapore is usually the most reliable server, but for now, i can only get games from japan if i want the ping to be more manageable.
On the bright side, japan is usually pretty bad on Overwatch (low ping, but lots of lost packets), they must have upgraded their infrastructure.
Yes, this is what we are experiencing, ping is fine during lobby and server selection screens but anytime its loaded into an actual match or practice range, it jumps greatly.
Yeah, I am also playing on that server, it was 100% okay before the winter update with just 40 - 50 ping but not its always 100 - 140 ping in-game
Browser still shows one way.
Nothing actually changed, the ping is the ping.
