jeff is bad for the game

bad ult, impossible to target when he's in the ground. awful design

His shift is just incredibly stupid. He becomes the hardest to hit thing in the entire game, gets faster, can wallclimb, AND self heals pretty fast. Even if you somehow hit him, he'll outheal it. You legitimately need several people attacking him when he's using shift to kill him.

If he gets your whole team with his ult, it is actually not possible for you to kill him before he dumps himself off a cliff, because of his minuscule hitbox, faster speed and self heal. I try every time, but it's pointless.

Meanwhile Rocket has a mediocre kit and is balanced around the fact he's small, so he's almost useless.

Scarlet Witch is the only character i played that work as a counter when he is on the ground because of her auto attack. His ult can ruin most capture the flag matches they need to nerf his ult AOE its too big for the size of the maps and modes.

I noticed that Cloak doesn't lock on to Jeff when he's in the ground like he does everyone else. You actually have to have your crosshair dead-on him for Cloak to do damage to Jeff.

I bet real money you have trouble taking out Jeff using shift as well.

IMO, black panther and iron fist are pretty decent answers for an annoying enemy Jeff. I recommend learning one of these characters. :)

i main rocket and have found that his movement capability is a great counter for jeff's bs ult. Anytime i hear his cringe sound play i just boost real quickly and have even seen some jeffs try really hard to compensate for it but still barely miss me. It still is damn near impossible to hit him in the ground though and is a huge problem. I also agree that his ult size needs to be halved and he should take way more damage underground

Then those are bad Jeffs. A good Jeff would just wait to grab Rocket until he's used them, which has happened to me several times. If he can't get the entire team, he will go for the supports.

Many times I've heard him ult, used both dashes to get out and started wall climbing to get away, and he grabbed me while I was climbing up the wall, sometimes pretty high up the wall. If jeff uses the ult with Rocket dead center, there is literally nothing Rocket can do to get out.
