It seems competitive is nothing but Quickplay, it reminds me of how Overwatch is....no teamwork, trickling in, spreading out, trying to solo like Rambo, leavers and bots.

If you have no idea what you are doing please stay in Quick Play so as to not screw over other people.

It can certainly seem that way in bronze and low silver, but if you manage to climb it definitely gets better. Once I got to silver and up the teamwork really started to show itself to me, and it helped a lot to use VC (without flaming my teammates) to get people moving in the right direction.

I'm currently plat 1, probably gonna get diamond soon.

Give it a little time. the ranks do seem to actually be distinct in this game. Once things settle down and calibrate a bit. Itll be easier for better players to climb to where they belong and get better matches. Still a lot of people all over the place as far as rank. Ive seen wild swings up to gold 2 easily. Then a bunch of negative KD players then back up again. But its just how its gonna be this season. Just have fun with it

A LOT of players just dont know how to play yet. Its gonna take a while

duh thats exacly what it is unless just like overwatch you climb to gm at least which im sure you havent or you play with a premade.

i play solo and do well i take it for what it is quick play without bots and players that cry more than usual

I got into plat by just doing what I do in every competitive game as a support player: Focusing on keeping myself safe and my teammates alive. I don't type or say anything unless it's concise and neutral. "Spiderman could you please swap? I can't heal you because you're too far away sometimes." I've yet to have a single person in ranked berate me or argue with me when I ask this stuff they usually just do what I ask. Compared to OW where I'm consistently verbally berated it's been pretty enjoyable tbh.

on the other hand being a fly on the wall i dont talk to people but i look at what other people are saying, i witness racism/namecalling, savagery during a match and after all depends on how well the match is going just like any other game the quality of humans are no better here.

In Quickplay people don't really care about winning, in competitive if you don't wanna win don't play it.

Nope, I play all roles and just want a TEAM that acts like a TEAM.......let me guess, you are one of the DPS who just runs in trying to be Rambo.
