Star Lord - High fire rate, decent damage, fast reload, ultimate has aimbot, perfect for people who can't aim (lol).
Namor - Infinite ammo (left click), Squid turrets has aimbot. Spam left click until you hit something (lol).
Hawkeye - Miss 10 shots but hit 1 headshot instakill (easy mode).
Hela - Spam left click until your team wins.
If you like to camp at the rear position; Moon Knight, Namor, Hawkeye, Hela.
Whats that have to do with aiming?
Just saying that Moon Knight is not good to recommend for someone who "wants to get good" because he is.... easily countered. Shooting his ankhs is normal in even just Gold Rank play and if you don't have ankhs, unless you're fighting Loki Moon Knight requires solid aim to play.
You need aim to hit your shots with Mantis, though. Assists don't count damage. Just put your healing seed on someone and you will get assists.
If you claim you are doing damage with Mantis you are hitting your targets and that requires aim.
You can't kill quickly with just primary fire. You need to combo it with right click and dash and even melee. If you're not playing Psylocke that way you are not using her to her full potential.
Might as well just play Adam Warlock if you're just shooting primary fire.
But that's just me and being level 7 with lack of map awareness.
Ah you mean the Kill that is not a Final Hit, gotcha. Yeah, Assist isn't the right word as an Assist is different.
Final blows definitely feel nicer because you're the one who nailed the coffin in, but contributing to a kill is nothing to scoff at. Getting "High Damage" is more important as that'st he amount of damage you dealt to enemies, so it wasn't just one random hit. Anyone can get the lucky last shot or just plain kill steal but dealing a lot of damage to get enemies to a critical state is a big deal.
The secret to doing well in shooters like this as a DPS is actually attacking from weird angles. It's the punch you didn't see that KO's you.
Jeff for instance his damage is meh but you can get weird angles on enemies thanks to your mobility and you can finish them off before they even realize you're shooting at them.
