So the christmas skins are pretty scummy
Just browsed the store a bit and realised if you want either the Groot or Raccon one you HAVE have to buy both as part of that bundle right?
That is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥, it is also marked as 47% off? Like compared to what it launched with that price shady stuff overall.
I was kind of interested in picking up the one for Magik when it comes out but I assume it is going to be locked in with the venom one now..... sigh

No no, go to "Featured" and you will see the Bundle of both Groot and Rocket, but if you scroll down, you will see a Rocket Bundle focused on Rocket only and same with Groot. No, I don't think you can buy the skin ONLY but the whole Xmas Rocket Bundle without the Groot is there for 1600 blue credits.

Really? Guess I will have a look in a bit again, they just made it as obtuse as possible then.
Because I went into the hero tab clicked on the hero their cosmetic tab to see if you could grab just the skin and that just links you to the bundle as well.

Yeah, not allowing an individual purchase of a product outside a bundle and/or introducing a product with an immediate discount is illegal in many countries. OW2 got a lot of heat over that starting with the Witch Kiriko bundle.

Edit: Yeah, the individual winter character bundles aren't in the Costumes tab, but are there if you happen to scroll down in the Featured tab. Still no ability to purchase costumes outside a character bundle.

It’s possible to buy skins without the bundle. Not sure about the emotes and mvp cards, but there’s an option if you click the bundle and then the skin itself in the bundle, and then it’ll list the cost below and you can buy just that there.
The only thing I don't like is that certain emotes, mvp animations, ect. require the skin to equipt them, which is dumb because no you should be able to do said things with any skin just fine...

you didn't browsed the store properly then. You can buy each skin and their mvp emote and sprays individually. If you only want the costume you can get it too for 1400 blue coins.

im aware of that
1900 coins per skin
is just criminal
some of the marvel rivals skins are just with the price of 1400
less expensive
quality price

The only thing I dont like about skins is that they are one tech generation too weak. In other games skins are changing abilities (visual), voices and dialogues of characters. Not only a simple visual of skeleton itself.

BUT its skins overall... you dont have to buy a bundle, you can buy skins seperately and its your choice if you want to spend this amount of tokens.

You can buy them separately… Maybe look at more than just the first thing on the store page before coming to complain.

That's likely intentional. There's an entire rarity of skin that we still only have 1 skin in (the mantis bp one) and it would be even more difficult to learn/play the game if skins changed sounds. We very well could see that in the future, but we don't have much yet.

Also there's a few skins that do already change visuals. For example, both non-recolor rocket skins change the BRB/ult visual and there's an unreleased Rocket skin from beta that further changes the orb visuals. I think there's a couple others that also change visuals but I can't remember which ones, and it shows that there are plans to have further skin depth, they just haven't pushed them yet so that players can be eased into learning the game.
