Marvel Rivals has a problem with racism and toxic behavior.

I have played several games now, many ranked matches but also quick matches. Initially, the quick matches were extremely toxic and racist, which has now largely shifted to ranked matches. There is barely a game without toxic or racist comments, whether it's about someone's possible origin, people not playing anymore because they're against something, or whatever else. Almost daily, you get death wishes or are told to kill yourself. I'm surprised that NetEase Games hasn't done anything about it yet or very little, and I'm even more surprised that something like this is still being marketed through Steam.

At least half this playerbase should be banned and restricted from accessing the internet.

The amount of players who openly grief, troll and ruin matches for everyone else because "haha i'm having fun" or "haha bro it's just game who cares if i troll" is actually disgustingly high.

Every single person who behaves like that and has that mentality should be immediately restricted from accessing this game and restricted from accessing the internet as a whole until they grow up.

This game genuinely has one of the worst communities I have ever seen. There is no teamplay, there is no communication, there is no even TRYING to play the game, half or over half the players you meet just plain and simply troll, grief, openly and actively wreck matches for people who ACTUALLY want to play a game.

It's disgusting.

They disclose that the VC in this game is recorded(I have never used it partly because of this) so these people are caught and text chat is also logged. If you hit the report button they'll get got eventually.

An IP ban can avoid this problem. If they ban your IP there will be no way to play on the same computer. This would be great for banning duplicated smurf accounts that also ruin the experience for new players.

Funny thing, slurs against LGBTQ are seemingly allowed. I've ran into several people that were openly using slurs against LGBTQ people over voice, the reports were sent out over a week ago, I specifically noted their names so I can see if they get punished.

They didn't. On the other hand, a dozen or so people that were throwing and griefing matches were temp banned within 2 days. The game devs are basically saying that slurs are fine if it's against LGBTQ people, which is insane.

I don't think you can type them in chat, but they don't seem to be taking any sort of action against it over voice.

Have you tried muting the people saying the slurs rather than reporting them? That way you won't hear them say slurs.
