Pick Mantis, DPS, Heal, Buff DPS and have an ult to counter half the annoying stuff in the game.

Pocket CC to stop divers too.

To all the people that complain about teammates.

Remember, if you're in Bronze, and getting crappy teammates, so is the other team.

If you're trading wins, and loses consistently, over a expended number of matches... you've reached your skill cap. You're not going to keep climbing until you improve your own game play. Even then, we all have our limit. Not everyone has the skills to reach high ranks, regardless of how much you play.

Stop worrying about your team and focus on getting better yourself. The rest will follow.
I can drop 30-2 with a team that is okay. The people in bronze are literally brain dead and when you have 5 of them that are 2-15 while I'm 16-4. The other teams really seem stacked with good players (I have a theory that they group those people up to move them up faster). Conversely if you hit losing streaks it just gets worse. I believe the MMR they are using keeps you with terrible plays to boost the much better ones out of bronze without any balance.

It's also easier on NA servers. EU is WAY more sweaty.

Is it? NA has been real sweaty, even in quick play people here are playing like they're at MLG or something.

I know the Asian servers are giga sweat regardless of the game, always figured EU or about the same as us more or less.

Compared to Overwatch (or at least what it was the first couple years of its life, dunno about after that), this player base is beyond casual.

I see a mix, unfortunately for me, I always end up on the casual team who are just goofing or just not very good. Meanwhile the enemy team is playing like $200k is on the line. :zagsad:

I feel ya. I'm currently hard stuck in Silver III and since recently, I have more losses that wins. I did start picking better heroes and counter picking, but somehow, my team will always end up being the worse of the two.

I main Wolverine and Star-Lord as of now. A big problem so far as Wolverine is that I will grab a tank or another hero and bring them to my team, and barely anyone will help me with killing that hero. Tanks like Venom get to escape before I can kill them and that pretty much means that committing I did was absolutely for nothing. Sometimes I think the people on my team are so tunnel visioned at their front, they pretty much ignore what is happening around them.

I think Wolverine is the hardest hero to get results with he def needs some work I think.
Not sure why he isn't a tank btw.

i jumped in ranked when i hit lvl 12, got rekt so hard that i dropped out of it just to go back to quick play.
Just hit lvl 19 and i am having a blast in quick play and getting lot of wins, yet in ranked i win one game, and lose 7 after that, so im not eager to jump back into that tbh.

So let me ask you this.

Do you think you are somehow alone? That the evil algorithm for some reason singled you out? Or do you think that there's a chance that there's some guy on the opposing team saying the exact same thing as you?

Or that for every game where you say WTF, these teammates are awful, there's your counter part saying, 'thank god, i finally got a game where my teammates don't suck!

This is not a one sided equation of us VS the game. There are players on both sides of every match. And as such it can't always be stacked against you. Both sides don't lose.

If you lose 2 games in a row stop playing for the day.

Learn to play Tanks/Supports and if possible play with a friend or two.

Your first mistake was playing Captain America in Bronze. You should learn Peni and Magneto though.
Peni is my main and a fantastic zone controller once you understand how she works, making her great for defense and keeping the enemies away from what they want to defend.
Magneto is great for protection plays with his wall and can also assist your divers with his shield. Magneto's ult also eats all projectiles that get shot near him to charge it faster for him to throw for full damage, just be sure to hold your ult as long as possible until it's fully charged or it does nothing.

It's also valuable to learn healers. I use Cloak & Dagger, Mantis, and Rocket Raccoon for all of their healing and utility options on each one.

Bruh
Cap is the worst tank hero ever outside countering single instance ultimates such as Iron man ult and Namoor Ult
Cap has lowest damage out of tank heroes DMG is supreme
There are better tank heroes than Cap

Look at the data
Cap has the lowest damage tanked because his kit is just weaker compared to other tank heroes
Just Main the S and A tier heroes then you're good for most low rank games
B tier are good enough for most games and players but better for specific maps
C tier heroes have higher requirements than B with specific maps and skills like Spider Man on Shin shibya to pull enemy tanks away from the map for example
D tier we don't talk about them they're the worst compared to all other heroes in the game

This one is good
I abuse Peni alot on Shin Shibuya maps with mine traps
Read the map names they are very lore specific
The heroes from the lore are made for that map in case you haven't noticed

yep im silver 2 as a solo, just gotta do your best, sometimes you won't be able to leave spawn, so just sit in there and wait for it to be over

but other times, try and pick a hero where your group is lacking, like if they have alot of Melee, you want anti-melee heros etc

also don't be scared of the strategists, they are much much more than just healers

vanguard i find my weakest role... i just can't ever seem to do anything with them, but its probably just me, so when i get a good one, i try to support them to enable them to do what i cant
Revelation Dec 21, 2024 @ 5:40pm
i am a solo player and im at platinum 2 currently i mostly play support or tank roles i it is hard though
