How is that any different from psylocke? Hela? Jeff? etc
Jeff's ult needs an area decrease vertically so it can't grab flying heroes, but it's only really good if the victim team is for some reason all in one spot. Hela's ult is easily counterable. Psylocke's ult is overpowered, even more than Mantis and Luna's ults.
I found out recently that you can out damage Mantis' ult, so it's not completely invincible. I was using her ult earlier and thinking that I could tank a Moon Knight's ult and save my team, I ended up dying to it. Luna's, I don't know a counter for that. The most I could think of would be to restrain the Luna's team, or have them separate. Not sure if a Jeff, or Scarlet Witch can do something about her. But those ults do take the fun out because that's effectively 8 and 12 seconds of not being able to do much. I wouldn't be too annoyed with them, specifically Luna, if she could get interrupted or something.
Jeff definitely needs to have some better visuals for his vertical reach. The box is much higher than what the animation looks like.
Psylocke's ult can be countered with Loki clones, and just having more people her radius. The less people inside, the more effective it becomes, since it takes roughly two hits from her ult to kill a full hp dps. Also, she has a start up which you can kill her from before she starts teleporting around. Hela is absolutely counterable. Take cover use shields.
The problem there is that all three of those ults require that the enemy team is braindead
I see them all work in competitive plenty, so...
Luna's ullt can be countered by active healing from your healers. If you all focus on healing a tank and the ennemy don't kill him you can old on for long enougtht.
Psylocke's ult is not good at all. As a luna main all i have to do is walk backward and heal my allies and myself at the same time. I will likely get out of range fast enougth while also saving my tank.
Moonknigth's ult out damage the luna's ult's healing so if you are in a map were you gotta attack something moonknigth have the advantage. If they are pushing you are in disadvantage.
But i do agree that luna and mantis have almost the same ult. It's kinda weird
But, but... ma power fantasy! i should be able to kill everyone all the time!
I'll never understand the hate for healers.
Psylocke's ult though is easily countered by Mantis, Luna, Dagger, Jeff, and yeah even Adam Warlock's ult.
It's a strong ult, basically an inferior version of Reaper's ult, but it's nowhere as strong and it is easily countered. Cloak doesn't even need to ult to counter it, and Loki makes it a joke just with his cooldowns. Peni or any of the dozen other characters with stuns can just web or stun her out of her ult.
Psylocke's ult has so much counterplay it's not even funny.
You can stun Psylocke out of her ult?
If two people focus on Mantis and can actually haflway aim, she'll be dead in no time just with regular damage. Even faster if you use any abilities.
As for Luna's, she's not invincible. Anything with a high burst damage can take her out. Might require another ult, but an ult for an ult isn't exactly what I would call imbalanced.
Mantis and Luna ults are the kind that are super effective at lower tier play.
