With that said, he is very good at "abduction"; approaching from behind, using his anti-air tackle, and dragging an enemy into the middle of his team to tear apart. His percent-based damage also makes him a tankbuster, especially against melee tanks like Thor and Venom.
I think players were quick to label him low tier simply because he doesn't play like how they imagined he would in their heads based on the preconceived knowledge they have of him from comics, cartoons, and other video games.
Let's be real, most players just pick the hero and then go into a match thinking that he's gonna have some crazy high move speed and that they're gonna just run in brainlessly and start spamming left click on every hero in sight. All while taking advantage of his cool healing factor because it's Wolverine after all. But that's not how he works at all.
You should watch YouTube videos of the number one ranked Wolverine and see how he plays, you'll quickly change your tune.
Him, Magic, iron fist, and even psylock to some degree, need healers to keep them up and running when the brawl breaks out
What?
If they add Sabretooth(I hope they do), he will most likely be a Vanguard style Wolverine.
