No you can't, you need to complete the card and you only get 2 gold stars a day presumably.

Judging by the mission unlock and expire timers, it sounds like the missions unlock a few per day but they last the whole time. So if you felt inclined, you could wait until the last day or so and then try and do all the missions in one day.

Only one of the daily event missions had a gold one today, but there was a second one in the "challenges" tab, so gold stars will be in both kinds of mission.

None of them are daily, they all last until the end of the event once unlocked.
