Have 4 PC builds and for me the crashes were only on the newest build with a 9800x3d / Gigabyte Motherboard. Swapping between a 4070 Ti Super and a 4080 Super only crashed on that new build for some reason. Other builds with those GPUs swapped in were fine. After trying all the various recommendations to no avail the one that worked for me was the combo of 1) Roll back the Nvidia Driver to 461 + 2) From the Nvidia Control Panel Disable the shader cache and then re-enable it after clearing the cache + 3) Start the Game in GPU debug Mode from the launcher 4) Set the FPS to 1 below the max of my monitor.

I had gone back and forth with each of those individually and still had crashes but after some desperation with trying all of those together it looks like the combination actually worked! Hope this might help some out there just wanting to play and enjoy Rivals!

Its so weird bc the game is buttery smooth for me. Watch monitoring softwares while I play and no bottleneck or spike anywhere

I have the same problem. I tried to set DLSS of, but did not help.

I have the same problem, DK how to fix it. So frustrating. The game runs smooth but suddenly it just crashes.

I dug around a bit and it might be a driver issue, at least for NVIDIA. You can try reverting it to the previous version

I second this, after playing around with it a bit - it seems to be related to Nvidia drivers.

I've crashed 7x in the past 2 days I had to uninstall it. Upon further investigation I found out its bricking peoples laptops and top tier rigs more so on the amd side but nvidia owners like myself are still getting hit left and right whether its during mid match or right as the next match is queued up. Memory usage shoots up to about 85-90% and forcing you to end task everytime as the game consistently hard freezes. It's just not worth playing anymore until they address these glaring issues.

Yeah, same here. Was usually like 1 crash in 2hours or so.
Now, i got a game and it just kept crashing with audio buzzing hard, like it wanted to brick my PC.
Crashed 4 times in a row.
You just get reported and penalties.

Crazy how this game is so polular while 4060 is most used GPU, ppl must play it at max 60 fps.

IS DLSS bugged? Should i use FSR?

To try and fix the crashing, disable nvidia reflex (low latency mode) and disable lumen reflections and lumen global illumination

Very common bug seems to me. I'd guess at least 10-20% of PC player base experiences the crashes. Haven't found a fool-proof fix yet, and haven't been able to determine what causes it. I have a strong PC and experience it regularly, while friends of mine with weaker machines with max settings haven't experienced it at all. Hoping they implement some sort of fix soon.

Can anyone confirm if this works? Has anyone experienced the crashes with nvidia reflex disabled? I crash after about an hour or so of game time, so I usually just restart the game after every match to avoid the crashes.

I was crashing like every 3-5 games consistently when I first started playing Marvel rivals. I disabled these settings and haven't crashed since. Milage may vary for everyone but it's definitely worth trying

Turned all low setting disabled reflex too. No crash since that.
