Seasonal bonuses are always active?

I'm sure others knew but I was very confused about this. I thought they were tied to team ups. But nope they're always active. Play one of the tanks in practice range if you don't believe me and compare their in-game health pool vs how much health they should normally have. Very confusing way to display season bonuses.

It also means a lot of the characters people complain about (Iron Fist, Hela, Hawkeye) are getting a de facto nerf next month for season 1 since they're seasonal characters.

Yeah the whole seasonal "buff" is utterly absurd, esp in ranked games. Kinda makes me not want to play and take the game seriously. Huge balance issues in this game. Lots of dog doo doo players getting high ranked just due to abusing obviously OP characters. Skill wise they are trash.

It's a less veiled enforced meta.
Like, a lot of games rely on this, and a lot of players for some reason love this, where games will intentionally skew balance in favor of a few picks, so that "every season feels different"

I think this will be most noticable when Hawkeye loses his bonus damage.
