What are the silver medals for in this awful jeff mode?

As title says what are the silver medals for? I cant even see them after unlocking them also this mode is terrible and makes me hate the game.

after you unlock something with the gold medals you can use the silver medals to change the look of it so they are cosmetic

After you unlock some of the compartments of the event card, you can use the silver medals to design it how you like

I can't believe there making us play this Jeff mode over time for a skin it's torture.

Who ever came up with the Jeff game mode needs to be fired.

Well one glaring flaw to the mode is the fact that if your playing for kills then you are playing against your team because you would be more productive just spraying to win the game.

Meanwhile awful dailies want 15 kills and some wins.

Terribly flawed and honestly not fun when you could be playing the actual game

What? Have you ever played Overwatch before? You literally shoot icicles to kill players, in both games you are playing as cute (rather chunky) character. It's even the same 4v4. The only difference is, spraying on the ground in Rivals is actually main point instead of killing.

no, i've played it lol. our perspectives are just quite different. my mind is oriented towards the gameplay experience, where the charged projectile attack and 4v4 are the only common ground and every other mechanic is completely distinct.

Was it a Splatoon style game mode? Because that's what Jeff's is.

One of the in-game achievements is for unlocking 5 skins. Some people might just be trying to get any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ available if they want the achievement but don't want to spend money.

Dunno what Splatoon is, I said what this game mode is copied/inspired from and is very clearly almost the same.
