US price vs CAD price! Gasp!

First of all I love the game. I love the characters and all about the idea of it but sadly I just cannot justify the price I'm sorry even if it's Free to play for example if I want to buy a 19.99$ pack to coin to treat myself which is not too bad but when you convert it from US$ to CAD$ it goes from 19.99$ to a total of 33.04$ I mean this is a HUGE gap in price difference. This make 1US$ = 1.64CAD$. Even in overwatch or other free to play game I never had to pay this much for 1US$. Something is wrong because even my taxes are 15% and charged in US$ but they are CAD$ Taxes.

The problem with this is if you start to really get hook to the game there is a too much big of a chance/risk that you will spend at least a little just to enjoy the game more and in short it's overprice. Just the basic season pass for 500 coin = 8.18$CND and the bigger one at 1050 coin cost you 17.22$CND!

Free to play is one thing, supporting is another but being screwd over the price of what I consider as much important as the gameplay, which are the reward for keeping on playing and not making the game too mundane over time cost you more than the value of a full game for getting a 4 pages season pass + 1 skin of your choice in the store... it's just too much.

We all love a good game, we all love a fun gameplay but we also all love a good rewarding system and we are willing to pay for it but at what cost? When you need to start making a budget to just be able to play a game and enjoy everything it as to offer this is not fun anyone. It actually defeat the purpose of what is consider fun... to allow you to get your head out of the real world and for a moment to enjoy yourself but being consistently reminded that you cannot be as equal or afford what the other around you enjoy as much as you want to enjoy also is a constant reminder that you are not fully immerse in the game.

A lot will say just don't buy it, it's just cosmetic but if it's so not important to all of you then why all the company focus on this specifically: the skins, the pets, the emotes etc to sustain their game alive? Because they know, in the end, we all want to look cool, have fun things to show up and to make our time having fun more enjoyable...

I agree that the CAD price is way too high. They need to put currency exchanges into the game at Canadian prices like every other big game does. Riot has specific exchanges prices for every currency, so does Fortnite.

Would be nice if regional pricing was a thing. Still, our dollar's weak right now. If the developers don't allow regional, it is what it is. I just end up buying fewer skins now and then to compensate for the increased cost in our goosebucks.

Canadian dollar value is pure hot garbage. There was a time when our dollar was actually worth something prior to the 90's now we get stuck paying extra

Yeah they should have regional pricing. Even with regional pricing it would be $20 CAD, which is still insane.

It will always be USD price to any local currency. Why always Canadians complain on exchange rate? Your dollar has $hitty value, sill it has better exchange rate than many other currencies to USD. And those other people don't complain. Entitled much?
