Absolutely Pathetic Giveaway

I don't like complaining about free things but this is honestly one of, if not the worst, giveaways I've ever seen.

You have 1 hour, which is about 4 matches(?), to happen to be in a match with one of two streamers, when there are MILLIONS of people playing.
I'd have a better chance winning big on a scratch card.

Almost nobody is going to get anything, and they're acting like this is super giving of them and such a nice and kind thing for them to do during the holidays. A lot of people won't even be available or out of work for that tiny tiny timeframe.

It's pathetic.

I like this game a lot but this is honestly pathetic and insulting.

lmao i just looked and yeah, it's kind of a pathetic giveaway. Should've been an event where you play X matches and get to choose one.

Eu streamers playing at literal midnight on a weekend so that usa ppl can claim the giveaway not like they have many streamers to try i guess. this is so frustrating.

also game has literally no queue to tryna snipe or smth, you click and get a game in a sec and streams will have delay so it will be impossible.

and i bet half of the ppl in their lobbies will be unaware of this giveaway let alone knowing who necros or bogur are.

Yeah there's no way to know what server these streamers will even be playing in. In all likelihood, because I play on a certain set of servers that gives me the best ping, I will have a literal 0% chance of any of the streamers being in a match with me because they don't play on the servers I do.

It's very poorly thought out and completely unfair.

You're allowed to complain about things that are stupid.
That adage doesn't even fit because it's not being given to you, the CHANCE is being given to you and it's an extremely small chance and in some cases not even a chance at all, with the server thing.

It takes money to make these kind of things so giving any thing away for free is awesome (whether it’s hard to get or not). A gift is a gift. Complaining about it right in the face of the giver is rude. You might hate the gift, you might think how you get it is stupid, but no what you think it’s FREE. I don’t complain about free stuff ever. I say thanks and don’t use it if I don’t like it. You could naturally get the costumes by playing. You literally have to put no extra work in at all.

lol, never said it was hard on them by making this single item free. They’ve made a game with lots of content and upcoming content for absolutely free. You don’t have to pay for the game, you don’t have to buy costumes, you can simply play for absolutely free and never spend a cent. That led to the shutdown of XDefiant. Them giving stuff away for free is a blessing in this era of gaming.

to be fair, the quote only applies when a gift has been given to you. if you do not receive these items nothing has been given to you. if you spent time attempting to get these items and did not receive anything, then something was actually taken from you. i don't personally care what netease does for events, but just an observation.

Except in this case the horse is still somewhere in the wild, with hundreds of thousands of people trying to catch it, and we're given 1hr to do so.

There's a higher chance of some random players (unaware of the giveaway) getting it, than those of us who are actually trying to participate. They might as well do this without announcing it because it wouldn't make a difference lol
