No? You don't need to make diff accs to avoid skewing your MMR on such a fresh game. If you were a OTP, high rank and wanted to learn a different hero without throwing your high rank matches, sure... but this game isn't like OW that has been out for like a decade lol. Everyone is sht at this game because it's so new, even the high rank players.

Eh it took a lot to grind to plat and I dont really want to lose it, I tried a few matches as dps and I just got flamed constantly and did terrible, had to regrind back to plat on support.

I dont see what difference it makes how long the game is out and maybe plat isnt 'high rank' but its the best i can do and I dont really want to have to regrind every season for the season high reward tbh
