Competitive cross-play

I'm the only one of my friends that have a PC, we love the game so much but there is no cross-play competitive which sucks. We have played many games together in comp, rocket league, CoD, Apex. We're all marvel nerds so this game is really a masterpiece, except for this one thing. Please let console players have the option to opt in to joining PC lobbies, or maybe just have a comp pool of strictly cross play. We stopped playing for a few days because we were so disappointed. Please add it!!🙏🏽🙏🏽

I agree, me and my girlfriend having the same issue. Aim assist is so weak for this game I dont understand why this wouldn't be an option. Keep Console servers seperate but if a party has a player on PC and another on console they should be put into a PC lobby.

The average gaming skill of console players is much lower, it's not even about the controller, console players just play worse. Apparently sitting on the couch and 30 fps on the TV has a bad effect.
No one on PC wants to see a console player on their team.
And the aim assist you want is no different from an aim bot, learn to play the game yourself, and not fart lying on the couch while the game beats everyone itself.

The lack of competitive crossplay sucks for me. Can't play with my PS5 buds. Not really an issue I have with any other game these days. The lack of cross-progression exacerbates this problem because I can't just hop on PS5 when needed. It's already hard enough getting a 6-man team going.

"Cross-play" is a broken concept because your platform doesn't/shouldn't matter at all, your input devices do. Disabling cross-play is an attempt to segregate players based on input device, but it assumes all PC players are using mouse&keyboard (I don't) and all console players are using controllers, which is largely true but not absolutely. (Also because Marvel Rivals has no mouse&keyboard support on console, which is sub-optimal.)

And if you're worried that controller/console players play worse, isn't that what the ranking system is for?

I dont even want premades... forget about crossplay premades. I would accept crossplay if they would disable premades

EEYUP. Console players are kind of trash. You rarely see on that sticks out in QM. Usually when in QM I check the person I was having an issue with in the game not pulling their weight 9/10 it is a console player. I in all honesty wish I could turn off crossplay in QM.

I get tired of all the chatter or background noise that console players have. Also they complain and ♥♥♥♥♥ a lot over comms. Meanwhile they are negative and a complete detriment to the team.

All of the "YO DAWG Y DIS tank/dps/healer BE BEING TRASH ON OUR TEAM NO CAP FR FR!!!!" Then you tab and see they are 3-18 with less than 3k damage or 5k heals... It's like bruh... YOU are the issue not the 8-8 Iron Fist.

If your game has crossplay between PC and consoles, then it's simply NOT competitive, and the ranking is a farce.

It's true in Rocket League, Fortnite, and anywhere else that has crossplay.

As soon as you guys are done crying about not being able to play with your friends, you will move on and cry about the next thing - which is:

MNK players have an advantage with their aim. I can't snap as fast with my controller blablabla, they must be cheaters, please help me!

You'll beg for better AA like COD and Apex until it's OP and MNK can't even compete anymore. Then you'll pretend like our outcries don't matter and are annoying.

Even the meaning of the word competitive means what it means. I want to have a decent challenge when I play a ranked match and not just steamroll vs the console players.

I quit playing Halo Infinite because of how op the aim assist was. Like you just have to be in the general vicinity of a head to get a head shot. I consider myself a pretty good shot with MnK, but when I plugged in a controller. Headshots I should of missed in Halo I was pinging left and right. Made me sick and just stopped playing.

I have watch a few streamers that play with a controller on console and the ♥♥♥♥ they get away with in even this game. Hela's getting head shots when they aren't even close enough and I would of whiffed on Mouse is disturbing. The only benefit now is that most of the console players are just absolute trash with zero game sense.

I think they should allow people who want to play together.... to play together. I don't understand why there will be an unfair advantage with aim assist. You don't see any issues with Fortnite??? Mouse and keyboard players have just as much an advantage with multidimensional input from the mouse offering both precise movement across two axes (X and Y) for aiming or navigation and variable speed sensitivity. Again, have an option to turn it off for folks who don't want it, but do not punish the rest of us.

There are programs to turn on aimassist with your mouse and keyboard in PC gaming. Thats why they do this.
