Don't even try to search for free ones - gonna be a virus 100%.
It sounds so goofy, lol.
Tell them: - "Just fix your game, wth?".
Edit: not only that - did they actually just said: - "ask the community to recommend a third party software"?
Nah, I don't believe you now. The support team could not say that. No chance.
Here's both of the support messages I received from them plus my messages i sent
Me: I've been getting disconnected every time I get into a lobby, only for the reconnect to work with no issue. I tested what the error could be on Training Grounds, and the error i got was Error 211 or Error 220. I only suspect it's the same error each time, but the files on here is the diagnose you guys recommend to send. A example is that when the game starts, the loading screen either gets stuck at zero or finishes the loading percentage but wont allow to continue to the character select, pretty much stuck at the loading screen until it takes me back to the start screen to reconnect
Support: "If you're currently experiencing issues, such as getting stuck at 0% or encountering a poor network connection, we recommend considering some third-party network acceleration software. These tools can help reduce high ping, packet loss, spikes, and jitter, which may improve your overall experience and potentially resolve the problem. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope this helps!Thank you for your love and support for the game. If you have any other game-related questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us. We would appreciate it if you could be considerate and evaluate our service. Thank you."
Me: What's a software the devs actually recommend to get? Not just gonna get a random one for it to not work at the end.
Support: "Dear players, you can browse the game community to find third-party network acceleration software that is recommended by most players and is safe. If you have any other game-related questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us. We would greatly appreciate it if you could consider and provide feedback on our services. Thank you!"
That just basically means they don't want or not willing to fix the issue, or in the worst case - they're incompetent to do so.
Well in that case... The only softwares I can recommend to you are - ExitLag (not free, only trial), GearUP (not free, only trial), Cloudflare Warp 1.1.1.1 (it is free, but I'm not sure if it's gonna fix 211 and 220).
Other (exact) accelerators may conflict with the steam policy and even result in a suspension of your account. So please for the love of God, be careful and check, double check any other pretty shady software.
Also - just wait till 20th of December's update, they did say they are "partially fixed the network connection" so try out the game after the update before considering using accelerators.
The winter update seemed to fix my issues, so now I can play a lot more often. Still miffed about the horrid advice support gave, at least I know the devs were actually working on a fix and support is just dumb.
