Most unbalanced game ever
I'm not wrong in this, am I? It feels like it's made for "just for fun" mode, so the player has fun killing or doing really overpowered/broken stuff across the board. The flip side is that when ever I do die, it's mostly very unsatisfying and I don't find my self thinking "what could I have done better or differently?".

At this point I'm just curious on if the game will remain like this. It's not inherently bad I guess, but I can feel the novelty of it wearing down on me already which is a shame, because I'd rather not feel like I have to go back to Overwatch to get my fix, Paladins is essentially on it's last legs and and not worth bothering.

As a Moon Knight Main I don't suffer from Every character is over powered, I suffer from Iron Fist can he can basically fly when I try to get away, slow mobility, and Needing teammates to not get me locked down during a match. I don't blame randoms though, not their fault I chose Moon Knight.

It will for sure change. There are characters now that are about useless so they have to update some things. The game is way more chaotic than Overwatch and not in a good way. It's just mindless spam fest, people hopping around, flying around, going invisible, etc. Constantly.

There's bit too many instakill-level of ultimates in game atm. Normal time to kill fine, but ultimates feel stupid how one winter soldier etc. ult can easily wipe enemy team, scarlet witch etc. ult doing same aswell.

Just like Overwatch and Paladins, Marvel Rivals ain’t built for balance—it’s built for chaos. These games were never meant to be fair or pure FPS-TPS experiences. They’re designed to be messy, unpredictable, and downright wild. So, if you’re planning to stick with it, you’d better make peace with the disorder and imbalance, 'cause that’s just how the game rolls

People need to think of these ults from higher levels of play, yeah a winter soldier ult can do that but if people focus him before he chains he's legit dead af

You're not wrong. It's horrendously imbalanced right now.

And it's not even just individual character imbalance; the roles are extremely imbalanced as well. Combined with the completely open roles in matches, this leads to some extremely unfun metas in competitive.

This is huffing pure cope.

A game can be fun and chaotic and disordered without being so imbalanced that more than half the roster isn't worth playing.

I mean, the game is brand new. The balance changes will be continuous, just as they are in every single squad shooter. It's much easier to see balance issues once your game is getting half a million players a day. If your complaint was unique amongst the industry, then you might be onto something, but this is just day to day stuff my man.

And when you think of tanks, they gain their ults way too slowly compared to DPS/Healers. If ult charge is based to damage dealth/healing done on top of its basic recharge, then tanks, especially melee ones, are at heavy disadvantage. My preferred tank is Groot, and even landing 4 -5 man ult on enemy team isn't really doing anything without team helping out, while dps can do their ults at 2-3 times at same period as I do 1 ult as tank, and their ults also instakill most of time.

I don't know man, Hulk seems to get his ult super fast. I've also never felt underpowered ult-wise playing my preferred tanks, such as cap, and Thor.

Could be just that Groot ult is so underwhelming, but still. If you compare timer between getting ult on tank vs. dps/healer, its still noticeable that when I play Luna/raccoon etc. my ult charges way faster than on tanks. If they can adjust individual ult recharge timers, I would imagine that its one of the ways devs can adjust certain ults being bit too strong in current situation.

I wouldn't say it's unbalanced. Look around the boards. People are complaining about basically every character except for like 3 of them that are lowkey sleepers. People hate general kits, they ignore specialized kits. People are also different skill ranges, so some think Jeff is god and Mantis sucks while others realize Mantis is god and Jeff sucks. Some think Wolverine is the worst character in the game while others realize his potential. Some think Scarlet Witch is overpowered while others laugh at her pitiful sub-100 dps damage.

Instead, I think there are easy to use noob friendly heroes and there are high skill cap heroes. One of the top players in the game mains both Iron Man and Hela. Normally, per these boards, Iron Man sucks and Hela is god. But he has better stats and more kills per game with Iron Man. Clearly he knows what he's doing while the complainers may not. Balance is hard to see when you're only viewing it from your own perspective, your own failings and shortcomings. How many of you have looked at competitive replays or watched people on twitch to see how the pros play the same character you think sucks or is overpowered?
sadly the whole game just revolves around taking the heroes with the best ultimates, most of the time, then farming it, pressing a single button and either everyone dies, or everyone becomes immortal for a few seconds. This game needs a balance patch asap

Honestly, you just explained every competitive squad shooter.
