Damage Number Discussion
Hi everyone!

I just wanted to start by pointing out that the seasonal bonus affects characters even when they’re not teamed up, which is important to keep in mind for balance discussions.

With his seasonal bonus, Hawkeye’s damage output is as follows:

Headshot: 384 damage every 0.9 seconds
Body shot: 192 damage every 0.9 seconds
Without the seasonal bonus, his damage is:

Headshot: 320 damage every 0.9 seconds
Body shot: 160 damage every 0.9 seconds
When it comes to his Blast Arrow, it does 45 damage per arrow (ignoring the 20% bonus). That’s a total of 135 damage if all three arrows hit, or 405 damage if you land all three volleys. However, it feels like this ability rarely has a purpose, as his base attack is generally more effective.

For comparison:

Black Widow: Fires at 0.84 seconds per shot and does 240 damage on a headshot, 120 on a body shot.
Hela: With her seasonal bonus, she does 168 per headshot and 84 per body shot. Without it, she does 140 per headshot, which still allows her to two-tap. At least with Widow there seems to be more room for counterplay.
The 20% seasonal bonus on characters like Hawkeye and Hela seems a little excessive and might not be necessary.

Looking at the top bans in top 500 games, we’re seeing characters like Hawkeye, Hela, Strange, Mantis, Psylocke, and Wolverine consistently being targeted. This makes me wonder if some adjustments are coming.

What do you all think? Am I missing something here? I’d love to hear your thoughts and how you’re finding these characters with the current bonuses.

I have over 75h in the game and play a lot of Magneto, Thor, Hawkeye, Hela, Winter Soldier, Mantis and Adam Warlock.

Seasonal bonuses let the developers test different balance scenarios without actually nerfing or buffing anything. It's good for the game to experiment with "what if we changed this?" but with regards to Hawkeye and Hela, ya I don't think it makes a difference. They still perform with the same TTK.
