Always being pushed towards playing a healer is not fun.
I honestly uninstalled the game because I was being pushed towards a strategist almost every single game I have played. Now I have played DoTA a lot so I don't mind going support or a tank if no one chooses em. But it honestly gets boring if every single time I bust my arse keeping everyone else on my team alive all the while getting dived on, probably while being the only healer in the team. Only to be blamed anyway when we lose.

There was this event challenge of doing 100k damage as a duelist. And guess how many times I got to play as one? Only managed to get it done by ignoring role requirements and going in as a dps anyway for a few matches.

I dunno if role queues are going to help. But honestly I believe that playing with a pre-made group is how this game is designed to be played. So that your friends can take turns in each role if you get tired of it. I'm not gonna go search around for one and I'm not gonna rail on the game for it either but something in this dynamic needs to change.

PS: Please give us the option to mute team + all chat. No I don't want to hear anything from the other teams about how "ez" it was.

Well, it might be true that players will instant pick dps at lower rate, but you know Tank is also not picked that often as well. You should try tank.

I mean if you re doing quickplay, honestly it just a practice mode where no one really cares.

If you feel like wanted to go dps, i suggest Captain as he s the perfect aggro tank.

Oh yeah I pick tanks too. Honestly I prefer them. Groot was my favorite. Or Magneto if there was a Scarlet Witch on the team And Thor/Venom as the diving off-tank. But for that to happen, I need a healer. Which they won't pick. I can survive and/or keep my allies safe as a healer without a tank to some degree but I definitely can't survive as a tank without heals.

Play what you want. You are a free person you know. No ones forcing you into anything and they can get over it or go scream into a muted mic. Stop being a pushover and enjoy your life man.

I had that issue when the game first dropped. Idk what happened but I've started to see alot of insta-lock support and tank players, as well as playing with my friends in 4 and 6 stacks.

I'll be honest if you're loading in fast just insta-lock your character. Only switch if the team comp is still iffy once the match starts.
For me it's Vanguard the team always needs and we never have. Healers are so popular that I'm frequently blocked from being one because instalockers take both slots.
The most common reason people dont pick healers is because they want kills and action, and belive a healer cant do anything other then just keeping the team alive.

Ive had a few matches where i had a couple of pointless dps types on my team and only one healer. And im talking about Black Widow + Hawkeye + Iron Fist + Black Panther + Wolverine, and i have to be the only one to pick a healer that litteraly cant heal them because for one, they charge in and get bonked by the other team that is way more better setup then my team.

I literally left that match as soon i understood that they didnt care about picking characters they could work better with.

I keep seeing people calling strategists "healers".

They're more than healers.
Don't bother trying to carry teammates that don't care about team comp. A solo healer definitely means they're trying to throw the game. Just take the leaver penalty and dip. If you get too many teams throwing just practice against AI or a different game for awhile.

Trying to carry players who are actively trying to throw only encourages their bad behavior.

Until at least an optional role queue for solo-queuers is implemented, that's pretty much your only way to combat the matchmaker giving you terrible teammates.

The saddest thing is you'll find more people willing to flex in practice vs AI than in Quickplay. Yet, that's the mode you don't even need a good team comp for unless you're going against the 3 Star AI. (Be aware the bots use aimbots obviously, so Spiderman for example is terrible against them)

Just play whatever you want to play. Honestly, most of the people who blame others are usually the cause of problems on the team. And they can be playing any role.

Tanks diving repeatedly and breaking LOS, so they can't be healed ... just zero situational awareness--but yelling "Heal me! Heal me!".

DPS going 1v6 on a staggered back-to-point run, YOLOing into the enemy on their own EVERY DAMN TIME. Where, of course, they get popped almost instantly. "I'm getting no heals, man!" Again, zero situational awareness. If you don't realize that your team isn't even near you, or that the healers don't have LOS on you, then YOU are the problem.

And, yes, healers that stand around, doing nothing, or shooting at things they can't even hit--or, even better, healers who simply don't heal because their brains are running in place--yes, there are people who play strategist who should never touch the role again.

Simple fact: You can't fix stupid, as the phrase goes. And when it comes to games like these, there's a ton of stupid to go around.
my biggest issue with healer is i don't really like the currently available ones, maybe i'll like healer more with ultron

It's not your job to play support every single time. If you don't want to play, just play what you want. Eat the loss and move on if that's the case but don't give these people what they want every single time.
I have the same thing going but it's tank. I get forced to fill tank so often that Magneto is my second most played character despite never actually wanting to play tank.

I’ve never heard english in mics tho.

So i just insta mute whenever i join snd hear odd stuff
I remember telling someone once that everyone knows what a balanced team should look like so just go with flow. Of course that was just quick play but any team wanting to win will make adjustments and if they lose, well they kind of looked for it for be fair.
I even started insta-locking dps at the beginning just to get players not to then switch before leaving the spawn.
