Why is this game so addictive?

Is it the gameplay? The attractive and unique character designs? Or maybe it's the fact that it’s free of political propagandas?

It's both for me, character designs are great and fun to play. I hope the developers keep the DEI trash out of the game.

Uh you realize alot of abilities and ULTs from this game are un-nerfed versions from OW? Warlock ULT is the old Mercy ULT but Mercy needed to get nerfed because people are trash and sensitive.

Even Punisher is Bastion pre nerfs as well lol

There will never be a spiderman character in OW where he can get multi-kills with ULTs and get out. Hamster doesn't really do anything.

So yeah, OW is a simpletons version of a hero shooter. It's 1 step away from Valorant.

NetEase is rly good at making addictive games. Look at how obsessed the Identity V fandom is over the characters that NetEase designed.
A lot of the elements in things like the temporary events etc. all tactics also used in idv

2) Characters desing is great. Jeff is cute, Bucky is at it Again and Groot is Groot. Very meme material and very satisfying to play.
3) These are your favourite Marvel characters that you can play for, and whose abilities match their lore. You watched all those movies and read all those comics for a reason. This is the reason.
4) It's 3rd person, so you can actually see the vibe of each character and their abilities look very impactful.
5) And those abilities Are impactful. They are very well tuned, with thoughtfull combos, so almost every one of them make the difference in the match. You can combine them in different ways to make a beautiful play.
7) The game has a variety of characters you can choose of for every skill level and game style. You can chill on Scarlet Witch and you can sweat on Spider-man. You can go agro on Hulk and you can play tactics on Peni Parker.
6) It's very convenient. There're highlights, great replay player and technically all you need in hero shooter to check someone's play, learn from your mistakes, review your best moments, share with friends, make content. You can show off, and you can get excited.
8) There're some real badass and gigabased skins with top-notch presentations.

So that's why dopamine kicks in again and again.
