This is why I play with friends, I get to pick who my teammates are, not a matchmaker. I completely remove that RNG element from my matches.

That requires having good friends, though, I got tired of losing with premade teams and I climbed last season solo, much, much easier.

Granted I just wanted the skin, got to plat then stopped playing, I'm no pro and my accuracy sucks but I'm sure I could've gotten higher as climbing was rather smooth.

I made like 10 new friends in game in like a week. All I did was play decent, start off matches telling everyone "Good luck and have fun" and ending games with "GG, thanks for the fun match" to everyone.

I did notice that the algorithm does try to unevenly pair people who are winning too much unless you have a static party.

You are correct, you either have premade team, which makes it incredibly easier or you gonna smash your head against the wall over and over. It's not hard to make friends in the game however but it does not mean that everyone you add will even play with you, Some turn out pretty bad despite doing well once, some are just better than you and you are too far behind in ranks to honestly play with them, and then some are just bad match. Those who are a good fit are far too few in number.

Also the fake positivity will get you no where. If game was actually even and everyone felt like that then everyone will same gg but sadly thats not the case most of the time and people gonna start flaming and complaining and whats even more sad, a good portion of those times I completely understand why. So blindly saying gg have fun or all that really aint gonna do ♥♥♥♥ if you are not performing well to begin with, so save your breath, move on from bad games as fast as possible, no point arguing or lying to people that it was still fun and try to find game where team did well and then friend those guys and see you with match well or just got lucky.

Also look out for fake people, those are the worst. I rather tell someone straight up to swap so we can win or be told to swap if I am not doing well, than have some rat pretend to be all nice but then do sneaky reports or throws. Had that happen today. Team was doing terribad, dps not pulling weight so I gave them few directives, on what we can do, still nothing. Ok, time for me to dps then, fine. Suddenly we are no longer rolled and nearly stop enemy team entirely but they break through by a smidge... ok fine, still winnable, ask our worst by far dps to swap to tank, just get lols in return. He is still liability but with me on dps we break through and game goes overtime. Just for our dr strange be all like, oh I tp us to the point, spends 30 sec placing tp into a wall, now no one can get there and we lost gain 0 points..... I call out that he is throwing, he is all like teeeheee nah, my bad, just a mistake. Then he proceeds to tp enemy team to us next match and we insta lose.... Now thats a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rat.

I suspect it's due to everyone thinking too highly of themselves and getting mad due to climb being harder. It is harder because now you are not fighting just bronze/silver/golds in those ranks, but instead higher ranks that got deranked.

Yeah five straight losses and I got my one ranked win for the day on my sixth ranked game. My rocket ended up doing 500 dps and 8k healing in one of my matches. Glad to know I'm on the same level as that guy apparently.
