Have you tried SHOOTING them?
I notice this a lot. A Groot will drop a wall and the enemy team will walk around it instead of destroying it.....it's wild. And then they wonder why the enemy is picking them off one at a time as they go single file around his walls...
I'm speaking as a vanguard player myself. I DO attack them when I can. if your dps don't shoot them they don't die.
Also what's your rank? get over yourself buddy.
It only sucks if one or two people are trying to get rid of them quickly. I also love using them to block Hawkeyes from having huge lines of sights since it takes several arrows for him to knock them down by himself.
For groot though, I get their purpose but sometimes I wonder if I hinder my team using them so often since it blocks them from attacking the enemy too or you can trap teammates unintentionally. Thankfully you can destroy walls if they are a problem.
Whenever I play Groot my walls disappear instantly. Whenever enemy plays Groot the walls are there the entire match. This is true in Bronze all tehw ay up to Gold.
The game should be designed around the bulk of the player base, not high elo where players "might" decide to shoot at them.
Overwatch balanced around top players for it's entire run, and it suffered. Rivals should probably not follow suit.
