Rocket racoon is useless
There is no reason to have a rocket over any other support.
Useless ult.
Somehow they end up with crazy healing but doesnt deal damage so we cant push any chokes.
Unlucky useless champ

I love playing Rocket but sometimes I feel like I'm not doing enough despite doing what I feel like the best.

Rocket is a strong Support. You just have no clue how to use him or have no clue how the game works and don't realize how much he is helping your team.
If he aint doing damage he is only 65% effective and therefore throwing.

He's mostly a good pick only if your team isn't good enough to protect you against a dive comp. Also yes, Luna/Mantis/C&D are better in every other case as sustain.

Without ults, Rocket is better than Luna, Mantis and Dagger at sustain. They only manage to pull ahead beacuse their ults can sustain a team through enemy ults. Even with their ults, Rocket will still heal more than any of them.

Rocket more than makes up for it with his survivability and his Rez machine/Torb Armor Packs, and his Ult wins team matches in an offensive way.
Yah.no. rocket can not out heal a dagger if his life depended on. The burst from dagger and even sustain is just leagues ahead.

On top of that the damage out of dagger is better which just makes cloak a better than raccon on every front.

Rockets healing is amazing, although he's more of a party heal and not a tank heal, so best to pair with someone who can do strong single-target heals. His ult is so-so true, but his reviver is practically ult-worthy on its own for how much of an impact it has. And he's the least-killable support. Overall it's absolutely no surprise he's the healer with the highest win rate.

Hightest winrate with low pick rate and low rate of games. He is 100% situational and isually carried. Since most of you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ refuse to utilize your full kit

Also, I agree that he doesn't push super well, IMO you generally want him on defense more than offense, getting to rez an early pick back into the fight is big for sustain.
Yeah it's cool and all that he rezzes, but if you were playing someone else with faster healing, they wouldn't have died in the first place.
Regardless of how strong or not he is, he's boring.
His entire playstyle is to hide in the backlines and hold right click, and then madly dash away and crawl on walls to escape anyone that gets near him. He can't attack from the ranges he's meant to be playing at, and his left click is literally only useful in the occasions that someone like Venom lands ontop of him and Rocket can chase him away.

He's not nearly as active as other characters. All of the other Strategists have things to do all the time, always, much more than holding down one button.
This is all Rocket does. He holds down right click 95% of every match, occasionally stopping for a second to toss out a boring stationary deployable.

He's worse than Mercy in the entertainment area.
His weapon is projectile, not hitscan. Lead your targets.

Compared to how broken some ults, like Luna's is, it might be nice if his was buffed to be useful both offensively and defensively, maybe it gives a little armour to people if they're being affected by it or something.

my duo plays him and i play punisher, by himself i can see what your argument is but man, punisher rocket is OP.
His biggest perk is being able to toss out that armor dispenser that can revive one teammate. Which he can use again after 40 seconds wither it gets used or destroyed outside of AoE heal his entire team in bulk.

Kind of wish the armor was more then 25, but more hp is still useful.

Maybe have a second healer who focus on healing the Tank ( since 2 x 2 x 2 is popular ) while Rocket gets everyone else?

You'd be surprised how many people don't realize this and never learn how to lead their targets on Rocket, resulting in their damage output being incredibly low.

I’m pretty sure that Rocket’s weapon projectiles are the slowest in the game. I doubt anyone with a rank higher than bronze 3 wouldn’t notice it.

This is kinda true. Rocket could really use to have his falloff range doubled, even if comes at the cost of a slight decrease to healing output, just so he'd be more interesting to play than "spam RMB".
