DRAW MATCH score explained?

So I just lost -9 points in a 0:0 match. Both my friends get +21 & +30.

But why im the one bare the lost? Its a draw, at least should just -0, right? Im so new to this OW genre

No. You lost ooints b3cause it was a game you should have won however you played like ♥♥♥♥. Your friends where not suppised to win but they carried you to a draw. So they got rewarded.

I have lost 0 points on straight up losses by out performing everyone on my team

I get what you trying to say, but still, punishing me for trying hard to defend? i tried my best in that game. The enemy also have higher rank. I guess they got punished too.

You were probably deadweight in your team.

The game gives you points depending on how well you performed in game with the measurable stats. If you were the SVP you would lose only like -10 to -15 points or so. If you were the trash on your tea you would lose -25 or more points. If you were MVP you gain like 40-50 points. If you were just getting carried you only get around 20 points.
