"Just add people from matches"
I too want a "stay with team" but since we don't have that people often say "just friend the team and play with them".
Tbh, I feel a bit awkward doing that but if I did and invited people to a lobby I would feel a bit stalkerish.
I'm solo playing and I've seen many do.

I think what I'm trying to ask is if someone died that would you personally join or just keep playing and hope that rngesus will bless you?
Maybe people are more open to it than I think.

I really wish the upvote system had a greater impact on matchmaking—like increasing the chances of teaming up with players you’ve upvoted in future matches. That way, upvotes would have real value beyond just a gesture of appreciation.

Side note: Would a downvote system be a bad idea?

I added plenty and no one thinks it's awkward but there is a real issue with this. Sometimes you have a great game with some people but then you play next few games together and realize first game was so easy cause other team was bad and not cause these people you teamed up with are good. Thats when it's bit awkward cause like yeah, I don't wanna play with you guys anymore.

Downvote systems are always a bad system because they breed toxicity, you'll end up with people mass downvoting people just for the hell of it.
Just constantly playing reasonably well, and saying "Good luck and have fun" as well as "GG, thanks for the fun!" at the start and end of matches I'm getting people sending me friend requests after matches.

Positive attitudes, even if you lose can go a long way to making the game more fun for everyone.

Wow, did you really just say that after making a ♥♥♥♥ post in my thread? Stars aligned just right for me to see it. Where is positive attitude you preach so greatly about? Again, shut up and listen.

I muted and silenced you when you attacked me. Why would anyone want to be your friend?

I don't wanna be your friend but wtf are you talking about? When did I attack you? I don't even know you nor do I think we even ever played together. In fact I know you are full of ♥♥♥♥ because I have attacked about 0 people first in my recent memory. You the one who strolled into my thread and make a dumb ass pointless, add nothing, problem perpetuating post and then left? Like again, what are you even on about?

When did I attack you?

"If you play dps, shut up and listen"

When you demanded that I shut up and listen at the start of the conversation.

If you do not understand the power of loud titles for attention draw then I am not going to explain it.

Again, I posted a full page, full of insight and tips on how to play and your response was basically teehee, no. Why even say anything if it's a literal nothing burger? If your next argument is not to tell people how to play a game then please, by all means, go on youtube and say that on every guide video.

The instant you start a conversation with something rude as "Shut up and listen", you've already instantly lost interest in 99% of the people who view it right then and there. Do you not understand the importance of of good first impressions? Do you think anyone cares what you have to say after that point?

Try being nice and you may get more favorable response's out of people too.

Right, tells me how much you read of my post. Would have known that being nice is what I was when I communicate with my teams and still..... seem like concept of loud titles or venting foreign to you. Guess you never had to vent yourself. Also yeah, people that are in my shoes, those who are not the problem responded just fine. The fact that you could not see past a clear bait title and instantly got offended says way more about you than it does about me.

This is a good topic that shouldn't be hijacked with an argument from something unrelated. Stay with team is the one feature from overwatch that I'd like to see in Marvel Rivals.

Yeah I'm trying so ill continue just being nice in chat. Also been playing some on ps5 and get the feeling people might be a more skittish there. Anyone have some experience with that as well?

And one thing I've noticed with the people who added me is that they don't wanna join up and even if they friended me I feel like maybe it was just for achievement?
I know that is more of a me problem but maybe someone has some thoughts on it.

And to the dudes bickering, get a room.
Or at least answer the question

Yeah, it just feel so clunky to add people.
And I just wanna play the next couple of matches so if we do bad we can just not continue.
I want something casual with no commitment, not a whole relationship.
