The Punisher design is dumb

The Punisher has the worst design in this game, as his abilities do not reflect this character from the comics and from all possible universes. He didn't have any turrets in the comics, why does he have one in the game? He just becomes an annoying character, like Bastion from OW. He also didn't have any grappling hooks, he didn't use it (maybe a few times), why does he have it in the game? Who is responsible for this character design? Did this person even read the Punisher comics? Or at least watched movies about him? The Daredevil series? His own Punisher TV series? According to the Punisher in the game, it seems that the person responsible for its design has no idea what kind of character it is. This can also be seen in his dialogues with other characters. I understand that this game doesn't have a high age rating, but these dialogues are too cartoonish. You can simply listen to the dialogue between Luna Snow and the Punisher. What is the point of this dialogue? Why is he so dumb? I don't understand.
Please rework Punisher, add more weapons, maybe it's worth adding soldier-76 sprint ability from OW, because it will be better than grappling hook and his mobility will be at a better level, as well as a pick rate along with a win rate. Give him a grenade launcher instead of a turret or something like that, make him look like himself from comics or movies. Please. Rewrite his dialogues...

I wrote this in the hope that there will be people who share my opinion about the Punisher and it will be able to attract the attention of other people. Maybe it will reach the developers, who knows?

It won't drag attention because nobody really cares if the game is fun. And this won't reach the developers.

I don't know if OP knows this or not but this game is using new iterations of each character with a story set in 2099. The game even has it's own comic series, so it IS technically in the comics. There's a reason why every hero has a 'LORE' section in their bio.

I don't mind any interactions between the characters. But the lore of the game should not completely rewrite/change the lore of the character, especially in such a worse way. I didn't find in any of the comics that the Punisher used a turret, for example, but the game has it. The ability design is completely unsuitable for any version of the Punisher from any universe or any existing comic book.

its a splash damage projectile, like many others in the game i suspect you don't complain about those though

He's the shooty man, what else does he do but shoot? His entire kit is build around being the cardboard cut out shooter hero that every game like this has, the reason he has a turret is simple, a turret is fun.

I would like him to be a more mobile character, to be more armed, more dangerous (grenades, grenade launcher, whatever) and at the same time to have the turret as his secondary ability with a long cooldown like Doctor Strange's portal.

listen, the heroes in this game are BASED on the marvel heroes. and that means taking some creative liberties with the kits. because first and foremost, this is a pvp videogame. so every hero in the roster needs to have a niche they can fill. and for punisher this happens to be the soldier pew pew gun go brrrr niche.

you might not like it and thats fine. but some ppl like it and for them, punisher is the way he is.

The Punisher is my favorite character in the Marvel universe. I understand that he shouldn't be very strong or weak due to his confrontation with mutants or other superheroes, but his abilities don't reflect his character in any way, and that's the problem, as I see it. Why would he need a grappling hook and a turret when he could have a grenade launcher or something like that? Which would make it more interesting than it is now. The Punisher is not suitable for this pew pew gun go brrr niche as i see it, more like use grappling hook > sit on a turret on top > turret destroyed or no more ammo > shoot and wait for a turret to be ready again or be killed by a spider-man > repeat.

skill issue. his turret is already practically a grenade launcher. I've gotten some kills on people behind cover.

and if he's your favorite character ever, name one iconic thing about him that isn't related to trauma or guns.
