GPU usage 100% problem
Hi. I started playing a week ago and before there was no problem with my fps but now it's a roulette between will be my game working perfectly fine all day or keep dropping my fps or doing something weird. When I'm opening my task manager my gpu looks like heart rate monitor if patient heart rate something like 200. It's going from like 30 to 100 every second and back. And my CPU usage is about 60-70%. It also happens when I'm just in main menu and not in match. Although when I'm on desktop while game is opened my gpu and cpu usage drops and working fine.

In my last match enemy team had Peni Parker in their team and her model stretched across the entire map and I couldn’t see anything.

I have:
12th gen intel(r) core(tm) i5-12600K
16gb ram
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

I'm playing on medium settings.

Turn down Global Illumination from Lumen to lowest. That's one of biggest performance hits game has, as LUMEN is raytracing-level of performance hog.

Well, I did it but it still goes from like 10% to 100% even in main menu

Ram is too low for modern gaming. Is this a pre-built rig? Thy usually sell you on the vid card then give you the worst mobo ram etc

Also that cpu is pretty much entry level. I'd assume it's a pre built and u just bought it for thr vid card. I'd enjoy what u have and learn how to build your own in a few years or sell that to a friend and build one but keep the video card

Yeah, my PC was already assembled when I got it. My friends have 16gb RAM but they don't have this lags at all. I'm not really good with computer parts and all this things, so I don't really know if everything is efficient. I saw someone with the same problem and I thought it may be also overheat of my card or processor that causes the problem

32gb of ram would help u alot. Windows itself takes like 8gb to run nowadays and ue5 games like this one are memory hogs. That would be the cheapest way to improve your rig and see a change. The good part is that 12600k is unlocked. Do you manually overclock it at all? You can get more speed out of that than it comes with out the box.

Intel extreme tuning utility is a free download and if you watch a few YouTube videos you can figure it out easily. It's very user friendly

it just strange that sometimes everything works perfectly fine and no lags at all with GPU like 20-60% and some times as now my GPU goes 100% even in main menu
running at medium setting 1080p 60fps and barely 60% gpu usage with the memory frequency staying at 1200mhz ( vram ) ( and a mod for stability/improved performance/No stuttering/no framedrops )

all with a GTX 1650s

even the top streamers play the game with low as possible settings
fancy graphics on a game like this are useless
Nvm, it seems that I didn't update nvidia app from like 2023 or smth and drivers too. Updated both and now I have 20% gpu on high settings

this started after one of the recent patches. a few week ago, at the menu screen the gpu / cpu usage was significantly less now its at near 100% are they mining crypto through our comps?

Oh...

It's netease.. a (ccp ran) company with a long history of hiding spyware in their games..

It should be easy to figure out from there

and I am here to counter all of this, I have a 4060 ti 32gb ddr5 ram. I also have the 100% gpu usage and gpu dumping crashes. I am playing on lowest settings. with a 4060TI.... it's not likely a damaged or low quality issue. It's likely GPU ram limit or drivers. my GPU is only an 8gb but no other game gets close to 100% on that.
