Speaking totally honestly, the matchmaker will kill the game.

Already its getting tedious. Very stompy, which for a matchmaker means very useless (might as well randomly select people, guess what, also stompy!). Can feel the desire to play the game diminishing fast as now mechanics are pretty much understood. A bad matchmaker just becomes an obstacle to enjoying the game. And once you get tired of this garbage in overwatch, doesnt take long to get tired of it in another game. Also, the rank reset was a BAD idea in a game that has terrible matchmaking. Adds to the pointlessness of team composition. Big fail for Netease. They should have learned this lesson from playing other games. The fact they haven't is going to take them down.

I've been dealing with matchmakers since Halo 2 and have yet to find one that's actually good.

Good Community Server lists full of good servers = the best gaming experience

Well, I was specifically pointing out shooters. I have little to no experience with fighters though. Do they allow teams in those games? Tag Teams and what not?

To be fair, no. However, I think lack of role queue just gives another troll dimension to the game. Never had a problem with the concept of role queue in overwatch, still don't understand why its not an option for people who want to have stable teams. The fact is some team compositions are insta lose (e.g. 6 dps). So...why is it an option in say ranked? Why is insta lose an option that players can choose? It just hasnt been thought through, and quite frankly the devs havent learned any lessons from other games, as theres no real innovation or leap forward in matchmaking.

Therefore, whats the pull in terms of longevity? The more people stay, the more balance will get annoying. So, why is the matchmaking 'anything goes' chaos.

as a casual im already getting severally burnt out stuck in the pain loop in quick play of playing 2 matches of being stomped by toxic sweats ( NO WHERE NEAR MY SKILL LEVEL ) and my team being well below my skill level only to play a brain dead easy bot match after and then it loops

im sorry but if this continues im going to uninstall cause its actually effecting my health last night i ended up with a nasty headache from how frustrating the game is and how toxic the community is

at this point the only way i would reinstall is if down the line the release a PVE mode and no VS AI dose not count

It's not about the climb for me. It's the quality of the matches and the swingy inconsistency of the games. Like, whats the point in having a matchmaker at all, just roll a dice and get the same lottery results.
