Alright, before someone tells me to move it to my C drive, I can't. Not enough space. My :D drive, however, has plenty of space. I really love this game when it works for me, but I join into a match a minute or even some more time later too often to the point it gets annoying. I have a radeon rx 7600 and the game runs great IF I ever load in. Not to mention that sometimes my character will just be invisible for a while. Is there some other fix other then just telling me to put the game on my C drive? And if not, are these devs ever gonna release an update for optimization on PCs? It happens often enough that it really makes me not want to play the game.

I second this, the games performance is abysmal. I never get to pick who I want because of the 99 thing, and the game runs like ass.

yeah after the update the performance has gotten way worse rather then improving.

The question here isn't about which drive you have the game installed on but which drive your Game is actively using. For modern games, having an SSD is crucial, as all modern games rely heavily on SSD streaming for optimal performance.

Of course there are still a number of manipulations with the settings, I would advise

The only "fix" i can suggest as someone who was in your shoes is to try competitive. I cannot explain why, but in competitive i did not get the 99% loading bug.

However you will still experience models loading in very slowly sometimes a full minute but at least you can move in position?

Moving to the c drive did fix it on my side but tbh it's still a 50/50 whether the game runs smooth like silk or it becomes a slideshow fiesta, no matter what settings i tinker with.

Maybe best to revisit this game in a few months xD

yeah I have a SSD I believe. But can you tell me what settings you would advise switching that might be able to help it run better? Thanks

I have the same exact issue. The issue was present on Fortnite too until I switched to DX11, however, Rivals does not support DX11. It's deffo an unreal engine 5 thing.
