Ranked Incompetence
I am stuck Gold 1 because I’ll win a game and lose the next few due to team mates who don’t know how to play their roles any good team down to queue regularly? I mainly play DPS, Iron Man and Psylocke. I can tank and heal if needed, Luna for heals and Venom for tank.

After that there were 3 games in a row when a guy just ragequit. Lastly, we had a match where a Spiderman uppercut me so hard, I clipped through the ceiling and stuck there until the end of the match. I couldn't escape, kill myself or swap heroes. I was just stuck there and watch my teammates 6v5 and lose. Great times.
Isn’t there a button to get unstuck?

Personal favorite is when we have the point and everyone think they're divers and run off to spawn kill just to be wiped.
Especially when they do it twice in a row after I pinged 10 times. Lolol
Or just stand outside it.

Like, I soloq so I'm not gonna be a ♥♥♥♥♥ about it but it's frustrating when the team decides to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory lol

Tunnel vision is whats killing ranked.
Too many players chasing kills and not playing the objective/playing the role needed.

Perhaps not every game is winnable based on team cohesion, communication, and play styles. Sometimes, I hate to say it, but a game is decided by a single ultimate. However, at these low to mid-tier ranks, every game has opportunity for you to carry. When I was working up through low gold as a C&D, I didn't wait for my team to get the kills. I just focused on all the people who were wildly out of position and killed them myself. Once I got to plat, I started trusting my team more to secure kills as I more heavily focused on healing. But it's not all about the kills either.

What people don't necessarily realize in these hero shoots is that it's not all about mechanical skill (vastly depends on the hero). But it's things like position, ult tracking, callouts, and playing the objective that all factors in. There were several games that I won (and lost) where the losing team had far better stats, but didn't play the objective. Getting those kills at key moments is what makes the difference. I've seen people lose a point, take the very next fight as the gate is openeing, and burn ultimates. Cool, you got kills, but the enemy spawn is right there, they didn't use ults, and the cart still moved forward because it needs to get beyond the gate before it can be halted. So in the end, you just lost on ult economy and going into a tough next team fight.

The point is, at this elo, the carry potential is still vast. Don't worry about your team so much, and focus on what you need to improve. You won't win every game statistically speaking, but the vast majority of your losses likely had the potential for a win if you did a few things differently.

Click on your profile go to history click on the all modes set it to competitive click on a loss then click on the replay ID on the bottom corner and paste it here
