I heavily dislike ults. The game is very fun and competitive until someone rolls up with an ult (which charge way too fast in the first place).
Often require 0 thought and 0 skill to use with very high reward. Not a fan of them.
- Game has EOMM which screws up all good in the industry since 2009
- Skill Based Damage (If you played Call of Duty/CoD, you know what's going on)
EOMM and skill based damage are not a thing. You just suck at games.
Im back in gold right now with only 2 or 3 looses since season start and dont have any issue atm and even those looses were pretty close and no steamroll.
Ults are they way they are, they are ressources you invest or keep to counter other ults.
If they wouldnt, we would have OW ults and innmy opinion they are crap not the ones we have here.
So spam q or use 5 braincells if you need ults to counter the other team.
Supports are always a problem in these games. In only 1 month of play time, people already use 3 supports to create almost undead gameplay. So if they decide to nerf supports or add role que, it will create another batch of problems. Point is, game is cooked either way, the only question is: when?
ults are busted though, i basically only die if i play insanely stupid, the healer randomly runs off or i get 1 shot by moon/ironman/hawkeye m1
and in the current state having 4 5 support units that makes u invincible is not gonna be fun for neither the casual or competitive player imagine u have a hella or hawk or any op ult when u get it u have 2 choice wait for the luna or mantis ult to then use it or use your ult so they use the ult in both cases if everyone saves their ult the game will can go as normal cuz there is not ultimate that can be played around yes in other hero shooters we have some op ults but they are not as brain dead as a luna or mantis ult
for example i think there was a healer in paldins that her ult was op cant remember exacly i played that game 2 year ago the ult gave her incresed healing and dmg but u know what is the beautiful part was ? she could die to a flank cuz she wasnt invincible and her healing had a down time in ult cuz she needed to ult or like someone had an ult that brought the time back for the team it was op but if u were bad u could harm your team cuz u could go back to a time with low hp and that was the ults ye the marvel rivals core goal is to be fun and they did a great job in the charecter design and even ults but the issue remains the same it gets boring and pointless to use your ults there is not a single hero in this game that u need to be good at ulting to get value iron man mostly positioning and all supports and tanks need the same thing positioning which dosent matter if they use a luna ult the only charecter whom their ult need a little more more that positioning is magnito which u need to keep watching for the ult bar so your ball dosent go to waste but even magnito himself has a counter ult it can counter iron man and any projectile ult ye i never said there should be no counter to ults but not every ult should be able to be countered with the same ult like having to think about the picks should matter like there should be a choice between countering X with X and Y with Y not picking 2 heroes that counter 95 % of the roster and this issue is not even the biggest one having op duelist ults can be a issue too like imagine having 3 ult vs 1 ult in the enemy if they use their 3 ult u cant do anything there should be counter plays with certain hero for certain ults not just op op op op i might be wrong tho just tell me where and why

And start new lines.
First it doesnt mstter what other games do, its just relevant if MR works on itself and every damn ult can be countered.
Luna ult?
Every one shot ult or hawkeye.
Mantis: same.
C&D: same.
Invisible woman: nah nearly same.
Iron man: kill him or use cover.
Hela: Cover or support ult (besides rocket)
Scarlet: kill her or cover.
Jeff: die.
Psylocke: supp ult or die (dont mention shields because yeah no one turns around)
Hawkeye: cover or die.
Peni: kill her, kill the enemy team whatever.
We could analyse every ult.
If you stop thinking ults are there to press and use them as a additional cooldown for team wipes/saves, you are good to go.
Thats how MR ults work, just adapt and dont hang on paladin, mr isnt paladins.
Accept it or not but MR wont change cazse "some other game does this and that", yeah fine for other gamea MR works right now how it is and not cause other games do this and that.
You seem to be missing the point that ults are supposed to be strong and difficult to counter.
Unlike CoD there is no skill based damage in this game, the difference between CoD and this is day and night.
