Is there a way to still cap the FPS and turn off Vsync when using frame generation?
I kind of just want to cap my FPS anyway, sure let me use frame generation. But clearly the FPS can be capped because other games allow capping while using frame generation.
If there's some way to allow this, please let me know.

Use the Nvidia App/control panel and cap the frame rate. Hope this helps.

I did this and the frame generation setting actually just ignores it entirely.
I even tried setting this game's individual settings through the control panel (I use a global setting for my preferred FPS and no Vsync normally) and it still seems to ignore it and even with frame generation, tries to eat all my VRAM with a FPS I don't need that creates input lag when it dips at all (because of vsync).

I'd suggest using RivaTunnerStatistics, i use that and it's pretty good for capping FPS

Yes, RTSS works for me. I set application detection level to high because sometimes it doesn't cap my FPS, but in high it always works.
