Pre-load failed

When I click on the Pre-Load button I get an error message:

Marvel Rivals
An error occurred while launching this game: Game not released.

I tried deleting the empty Marvel Rivals folder in \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common but the same issue is still happening.

Is there anything I can do to preload or am I out of luck until the game officially launches?

I get the same error "Game not released"
I don't think there is a solution, because I can't download it from Epic either

The game isn't gonna open because its not released yet. When it releases, youll be able to open it. hope this helps

the game files are encrypted right now.. When the game will be in released state Steam starts decrypting proccess of them and your game copy will be installed and u since then u can play the game

The encrypted files are placed in Your_Steam_folder\steamapps\depotcache

If the game says its downloaded and its not released thats because they havent sent out the encryption key to players so steam can fully install it. As of right now that is still about 8 hours away or close to that then everyone will automatically be sent the key and steam will unpack it. Hope this helps you understand
