Steam and Epic linked.

Does anyone know if it's possible to use the same account on the marvel rivals client if they are linked? Reason being that epic will have rewards for playing x games on their client for Fortnite, but i want to play on Steam using the same account for MR, so considering i have my epic and steam linked, will it work?

nope, it cant be. also this is written on their customer support page.

A: Steam, Epic platforms, Playstation and Xbox all have
independent account systems. The account data doesn't
share in different platforms (steam, ps5, Xbox) and the data
can't be transferred.

I played around 15 matches on Epic and the progress hasn't transferred over from there either.

Well it's a shame, thanks for testing, i'll stick to steam though, maybe create an alt on epic just for the rewards they give for fortnite.

from what i have read in online searches, the answer to this question is no, unfortunately. i guess this is preventing players from getting all of the platform specific rewards on one account.

I would blame Sony for a secret exclusivity contract in their content collab. such as Spiderman with Playstation store-exclusive skin and Playstation Spiderman 2.

Cross-progression is currently impossible, but from what I hear it is currently in the works
