I think you need to remove text chat from the game completely. It is unnecessary and all it does is waste time, many people type more than they actually play.
Ping and voice chat are more than enough for communication. Remove any text chats. At least remove cross-team chat while in game.

I literally say in my post about pings and voice chat. But no, you are one of those people who think this game is a text abuse simulator.

Why should an entire chat function be removed for everybody because you had a few bad experiences with it? It's an online competition focused video game. You are going to deal with toxicity no matter what.

If someone is using text chat to type mean words, then simply block and report them.

If you don't want to deal with text chat, then simply turn it off.

If you don't want to deal with rando teammates being bad or toxic, then stop solo queuing and find some online friends to play with.

Every issue that you have with text chat and the MR community could be solved on your own if you would simply handle things logically.

I only use voice chat when I'm in a private chat with friends and as far as people being terrible, text is much easier to ignore than if they're in voice chat with you.
