Pricing model will make or break this game.
So many F2P games are getting very greedy with their pricing and FOMO models. I simply cannot play every day, and when I feel like I am missing content because I have a life, I will slowly (sometimes rapidly) disengage from the game.

Weekly quests are not as bad, as long as I can get them done in a handful of days that week. Even better would be a seasonal model like Halo. Give me challenges to complete at my leisure, non-gated. Also allow me to return to those challenges in the future. I like to collect rewards and skins, but if I feel like I am missing out or falling behind, I will give up.

Which brings me to prices. It shocks me how much skins cost in games nowadays. Skins and skin "bundles" (the skin with a couple throwaway items included) are regularly $20+ each. It makes me long for the days of $1.49 horse armor. I put thousands of hours into OW1, and earned/bought EVERY SINGLE SKIN that game offered, often spending $50-$100 per event on loot boxes. Although I did not like the gameplay of OW2 as much, I would have kept with it. But basic skins going for $20+ each in OW2 is a hard pass. With (subjectively, I suppose) less-fun gameplay, there was nothing in it for me.

I would buy 20 skins for $5 each. That's $100. However, I will buy 0 skins for $20 each. That's $0. Considering skins are an unlimited digital asset, I can't understand why they price people out of these purchases with ridiculous inflated prices, when they could probably make more on volume.

So depending on how enjoyable this game is to play, overpriced F2P/FOMO model will make it a hard pass.

With this game having Marvel characters, oh yea I would be charging at least anywhere from $15-$20 because you know people will buy them. People will pay out the nose for the skins of hulk ironman suit, mark 1 ironman suit(cave), red hulk, mile morales spiderman, noir spiderman, gwen spiderman, the list goes on.
As for the game itself from watching streamers if it goes with how it's been for the betas I think this game will do fine game play wise,
Personally it looks like you're only looking at this game as if it's going to have skins be more than $5 I'm not playing it. It seems you care about the skins more than game play, also you could always wait for a sale. Sure you might not get the skins you wanted from the sale but that is more of a you problem.

Good riddance.
FOMO is what gives you an opportunity to flex on people with "real life" who missed an amazing skin for 98 bucks. And I am here for it.

I'm more worried if they will sell heroes for money (which they likely will), which would make the team-up system straight up useless if you don't have people that own those heroes

As long as they don't block new heroes behind a paywall I'm good to go.
Selling skins doesn't make the game any less fun. As they say "skin doesn't make skill".
