Changing graphics/controls?

The original PC version, prior to this Steam version, let you change the graphics and resolution settings and set up gamepad controls in the Config exe.

I've tried using both "config.exe" and "zapperconfig.exe" and neither of them seem to function properly.

I hope I'm just missing something here, because if not, I'd genuinely be getting a better experience just playing my legally backed up GameCube copy through "other means".

Not asking for anything crazy, just for this to have all the features the original PC version had; which this is.

I just made a config with 1080p and native x-input enabled. Only tested it on my AyaNeo Slide with ChimeraOS and proton, but this should work on Windows too. Just replace the original in the GD folder with the one I provided. I also added a controller fix in the community layouts to have d-pad and stick work simultaneously, as well as mapping enter to start and esc to select since I can't map them. https://drive.google.com/file/d/13Emvn4uFsqPkG2dlxSSqqARczMxWg3pG/view?usp=drive_link

I'm having a similar problem. When I select Config.exe or ZapperConfig.exe it opens but the Video, Audio and Controls options are greyed out and I can't click on them. I'd really like to play this in widescreen.

You could always try it with a disc version and transfer the config over.

You could always try it with a disc version and transfer the config over.

Not a bad idea. Unfortunately when I tried that I opened setup.exe and got Error Code -5004 : 0x80070005 saying to finish any previous setups or close any other applications.

I sincerely apologize for not giving access to everybody. I rarely check the email with the account I used. I checked it a little earlier and saw requests for it. I granted access and it should now work for everyone. Very sorry for not checking sooner.

Thank you for the updated config setting! Despite that Atari didn't remake the config launcher for easier editing, I was able to reassign the controls via hex editors.

There are a lot of anomalies in the widescreen mode, and a Field of View (FOV) hack would've been nice, too. Sadly, fixing them is out of anyone's expertise unless someone is knowledgeable with game hacking and using debugging tools.

It seems to have fixed the resolution but unfortunately I don't have any response from my keyboard so the controls are completely caput

This is a pretty complete version. As far as I understand, the resolution can only be changed by inserting the disc, as before. Fortunately, the file can be changed to 1080p - I already shared this above.
