I am confused about the current reviews being negative for some reason

the game is fine, gatcha system isn't predatory except for the unhinged prices for the skins (ye my broke ass can't afford it for now). during the early English launch, the settings are very off at first, as most translations also feel wrong, but it doesn't affect the gameplay much.

Okay, now about the gameplay. It is what to expect from a fighting game; even the gameplay feels similar to Gundam EXVS. the upgrading system is just to unlock skills that don't affect the balance much, as they didn't contribute much towards damage or adding health, as they just either: 1. add more shoot skill ammo, 2. add a cancelling combo with certain moveset, 3. add a moveset, that's basically it. even playing with the base character doesn't feel bad. the game itself is very generous to beginners, as they keep giving free character trials and shuffle them every day so players can try the characters that they may not have yet.

20+ hours in and im in superstar rank, it's already my go-to gatcha game as it has the gameplay i wanted. no stupid material grinding, easy dailies, not a stupid walking simulator (even though i enjoyed milsims myself, but i genuinely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate RPG games that forces me to walk to another town just to get yo mama's panties to slap it onto a boss or something on the town that's in the backshot forest or something. so personally, ♥♥♥♥ you genshin and elden ring). and it has a lot of fun moments.

1) The game started in Chinese I guess and didn't even give me the ability to change the language before starting anything and then forced me into tutorial mode.

2) This appears to be Asia server only for some reason.

3) The first hotkey I saw on the game was pressing "J" then I uninstalled it.
