Report a translation problem
Not saying it's poorly explained - game has a heavy case of "lost in translation" paired up with (apparently) several translation means being used at different times. So yeah, translations need a little less BabelFish and a little more actual QA.
A lot of the the math becomes trivia once you're earning a number of infinities per second that requires a scientific exponent with four digits (or more) after the "e" tho.
So yes, some descriptions are lackluster, and I've learnt to only trust my eyes in this game. A lot of things sound better than they are, others sound far worse. Since I've seen similar cases before and not just in gaming, I'm quite sure it's the language barrier coupled with either laziness (of which I won't accuse developers of until enough proof arises,) or a lack of understanding on why these descriptions don't work in English the way they may in their original language (French, if what I've read while looking around is true.)
