Exponent and Rev

What does it mean? It just goes up and as far as I know, there's no where that says what it does. It might of said something at the beginning but I have no complete idea what it does exactly since it's what is revolved around for Challenge 3. Would be great if someone could explain on what it does exactly.

Exponentiation is a specific type of numeric alteration where for values larger than 1, you multiply the affected number by itself or portions thereof multiple times. So for instance 4 to an exponent of 4 is 256 (4 x 4 is 16, 16 x 4 is 64, 64 x 4 is 256). For values smaller than 1, the process is reversed and you effectively chop the number down instead (f.ex. 100 to the exponent of 0.5 is 10). As far as the challenge goes, practically speaking the most important part is that your number will be substantially shrunk until you can promote yourself enough multiplier and ascension power to overcome it and bring your exponent above 1 again with prestiges.
