Progress slowdown at Supernova 37

I was moving right along with this game progression wise until I feel like I've hit a major wall that I can't break. I'm at Supernova 37, EC1 through EC6 are all 5/5, EC7 is 3/5 and EC8 is 2/5. Progress on EC7 and EC8 seems to die off significantly that might take weeks to push through as with EC7 i'll get about e180k/200k score before progress halts and EC8 I'll get about e400k/450k before progress halts. I have all animals except [9:5 through 9:9] I think I need another 190 AP to buy the rest of the Pets. Lab Base 2.262e13, Mult 156.40 and Power 41.90. I have 468 lab points + 38 from Supernova. So I have Common Exponent (212+38, soft cap 250) and the rest 256+38 in Gen Power Exponent.

I've tried re-balancing some of my lab points but nothing seems to give me the right boosting anymore. Any advice please? Thank you!

You want a ratio of 1:3 for power gen exponent and common exponent.

I'd been putting it all into common exponent but I just tried this and it seems to work better.

Thank you! Forgive my ignorance but when you say 1:3 for power gen and common exponent, if the soft cap for common is 250 should I put 83 into gen power? (250 divide by 3 = 83) or do I have that backwards. Doing so leaves me with several hundred more RP left to spread elsewhere, where should I place those primarily?

edit: oh damn i think I got it now, 468/3 = 156, so I chucked 312 into common and the rest into gen power and I broke the wall

There is not single "the best" ratio. Best ratio change thru dilatation, supernova and challenges uses different "best ratios" and even EP run (for lab) could use different ratio.

If you keep this 1:3 ratio cuz someone told you so, you will be hitting walls where you have to wait a long time or adapt.

I was fooled by the soft cap and was stuck at 37 supernova for three days. ! was about 50/50 common and gen power (about 200 in each). Switching to 3:1 common to gen got me through to dilation in a couple mins.
