Auto Promote bugged
it appears that Auto Promote is a little broken at the moment.
i have it set to +10 on each skill but it keeps skipping 1 or not putting the same amount of points in and i get wildly different numbers. for example Multi is at 1000, speed at 800, power 700, promotion power 500.

has something changed in the last week as before I hit Eternity I didnt have any issues. Hit Eternity today.

this as a result has made my IP farming so inconsistent when AFK.
like iv had a session going for 5 minutes and I have earned more than my next session which was 30minutes that i had better upgrades on.
what is going on..
Pretty sure it's always been like that. Usually happens when you are gaining power faster than it can keep up. So that in the fraction of a sec that it takes to auto promote for 10 lvls, it already flew past there, and you actually gained more by the time it triggered so some can get more levels than others.

A sort of solution is even with auto promote on, you can still manually promote to catch up the ones that are behind to get it re-balanced. Obviously that won't work if you are afk. At a certain point, (10 animals) it won't matter anymore since promotions won't reset anything.

Another possible solution, not sure how effective it is though, is to also use a short time on the promotions like .05 The idea being that on the ones that are behind, will use that short extra time for more levels allowing it to catch up, while the ones that are ahead it won't make much difference since it will take longer than that short time to gain anything extra.

Also might check and verify that you only have each promotion listed once. If you have one that is in the cycle twice, it will screw up the whole cycle.

yeah, it's been like that for me too. it's not really a bug i don't think, but like spidweb said, you gain levels much faster than +10 at that point and it blasts past that. it automatically promotes when promote gains are *at least* +10, resulting in really weird numbers.
it can lead to one of the promotions being way overleveled, slowing down progress since it has to wait for that one before the others will level up. i wish there was an option to promote *any* of them that would gain +10, not just one. would solve that problem.
not to mention auto promote just doesnt work while time fluxing

yep, well those answers pretty much kill the game for me now.
i just left it running for an hour to see if it would 'fix' itself but nope. one of my promotions was so far ahead and waiting to be upgraded that it just was never going to happen and its on +5.
I also cant add a 0.5 option to them as the . doesnt work.

What I found best for promotion automation prior to animal milestone 4 was to have like 20+ rows starting with very high values like at least +100 levels after 30s for each to start, then the next 4 would be like +50 levels after 30s, and slowly jumping down to +1 after 60s and that would repeat that however many times I thought was reasonable. This wouldn't necessarily keep them all at a consistent level, but it should reduce the probability of it getting stuck.

It was really a trial and error type of thing...
in endgame you can put auto-level +1 for all promotions and delay of zero. but in early-game put like +10 or +15 with delay of 2 sec and check if it got better!
