Lab setup in dialation

Yo, i just reached my first dialation infinity at supernova 35 and RP 870.
I see most people recommending a lab setup of 1:4 into gen ex:general ex but the general exponent (6) reached a softcap after like 400/500+ RP. Is it still worth continuing 1:4 or how should i adjust it ideally?

Upgrade 6 will continue being the strongest upgrade most of the time up until the current endgame. Even better, in "endgame" the fastest score gain is (from my testing) with all lab points in upgrade 6.

The "soft cap" seems to exist so that upgrade doesn't completely overpower everything else.

It varies from 1:4 to 1:1 depending on where you are. When you are in dilation run, at first it is best to put all points into #6 since generators do nothing. When you can reach Infinity while in dilation, claim the IP to kickstart the few generators you have. You'll need to do this each time at the beginning until you can easily reach Infinity Upgrade (I believe it's 18:2 that generates infinities. I don't have the game open right now.)

When you can get to Infinity upgrade 20:2 while in dilation you can use the same lab ratio for both in and out of dilation.

To check ratio, set a target amount in auto eternity that will take roughly 1-3 mins to get there. Reset and change the ratio and compare EP/s.
