Generator 1 broken in Dilation?

This may be an intended game mechanic, but ever since I entered dilation (at about 3k exponent max, just barely stated buying upgrade 4) so still very early, generator 1 provides zero generator power. As I reduce the dilation penalties, the exponent is slowly crawling higher, but it is only modifying 1.00 GP. Am I just missing the spot where it says dilation harms generator output? (The rest seem to be working fine) or is this a bug?

Dilation has such a strong penalty at first, that your generator will work incredibly slow. Dilation decreases a lot of things that affect generators. Also, there's one infinity upgrade that multiplies your generator power by your number of infinities, and when you just enter dilation, you have zero infinities.

You'll need to buy a few dozen of dilation upgrade 1 before generators go back to not being trash.

I figured it was intended, just nerfing gen 1 into the dirt so no matter how many you have each one is still generating 0.00 GP. Looking forward to the boost whenever it rolls over. Thank you.

It's not broken, it's just crippled until later when you've lessened the penalties. So when you're first in dilation, shift all your lab to upgrade 6. Do the same in challenge 10 which will again push your generators into uselessness.

Yeah your generator is multiplied by your Infinities, and you have 0. Just press Infinity, and it starts giving you some GP.

Yes; this is broken.
Even if you have IP generating passively in Dilation, the game does not recognize you having completed infinity. Once you get above infinity, 'Infinite for xxx IP' and then Gen 1 will start working. You must do this every time you stop/start Dilation.

This is because you have 0 infinities on dilation start, which multiplies your GP gain by, well, 0.
