It makes the last half of an eternity much smoother where you're kind of just waiting for 10-20 minutes at a time, and TF cuts that in half by just having it passively boost the game speed.
What I'm trying to suggest, is that if it's worth it to max out TF gain so I can basically get 2x game speed permanently/very close to that.
It's definitely more Cookie Clicker style of idle instead of "Come back to magic goodies" idle, where your choices and strategies are more important than just merely waiting a bit.
At least, for now.
