Bit of a wall...is patience key?
I feel like I've hit a bit of a wall now where everything is going quite slowly. I've been making a lot of adjustments based on one of the guides I've seen tossed around as well as several other posts and suggestions, all of which have helped me improve a lot. Now, I'm just not sure if I'm at the "it'll take some time" bit or maybe there is still more improvement to do.

Currently I'm at Supernova 11
Infinity Challenges are all at 0.08s (I have not been able to get them lower) with a sum-time of 0.75s
I have about 34000 Eternities cleared
24 Animals purchased (1:1 through 4:5, plus 5:2, 6:2, 6:3, 6:4, and 6:5 - I am 2 points from 6:6)
23 Challenge points:
-EC1-3 are all 5/5
-EC4 is 4/5
-EC5 is 3/5
-EC6 is 1/5
Lab is generating 502.8 million LP/s with 233 total
-Current ratio is 48 GenPower and 185 CommonExp
Automation is set currently to farm EP at 0.8s/eternity. I seem to stall out right around e187000 revolutions and e495 IP or so (Maybe 496 or 497 at best) after about 25-30 minutes in a run
-I have promotions and prestiges to be 1/0s for promotions and x10/0s for prestige
-Slowdown is currently set to auto/10x

My EP farm is netting me about 240Sx/s EPs per run, which has been decent enough but it's starting to feel like a bit of stagnation. What would be the best advice? Continue EP farming? Shoot for 1-3 hour (Or longer) runs? Animals currently cost 529 Sp EP/e500 IP/e190000 Rev per AP which is kind of where the wall is at now, and my Lab upgrades are at 193 Sp Base/19.5 Oc Mult/124 Sp Power per upgrade. The Sp farming is doable, just very slow.

Basically, I just want to make sure I'm not massively screwing anything else up based on where I'm at (It seems like maybe others aren't getting stuck here? Or they're able to figure it out maybe). Thanks for any and all help!

Just checking, did you remember to turn the Automate Infinity off? (And to change settings for Auto Prestige and Promotion to do it instantly and constantly?)

If you're farming EPs and not Eternities, you want to let them run for as long as you can.

A 0.1s Eternity could be giving you 1000 EP/s but if you let it run for 10 minutes you could b getting 5k EP/s instead, making every second spent in the game worth five times more.

It's been that way for me for most of Eternity, right now I could be getting e290 EP/s in one second, or let eternity run for one hour and get e1790 EP/s instead.

Yup, made sure to turn that off some time ago for Auto-Infinity, and Prestige/Promotion are very low and on 0s intervals.

Is there a general point where that starts to become more efficient? After about 10-20 minutes, the EP/s has gone drastically down which is why I've been doing the 0.8s runs. It seems to stagnate in my runs pretty quickly, which is why I wasn't sure if it was a "I haven't hit the right point" thing or a "I have to be patient" thing. I have about 6 hours of Time Flux banked so it's easy to do tests with this, I've just been holding onto it for testing purposes and also for "Let's see if I can get this challenge/thing-I-want-to-do done" situations.

Okay so update. I took a little spare time and tweaked a couple things and also just burned a few hours of Time Flux (And real life). I managed to get a few levels of Super Nova and a few animals purchased. Now, the automation values are starting to change to the point that my automated runs are most efficient around the 11 second mark for EP farming. Once I start slowing down on things I can buy, I am trying to take a 30-60 minute run to see what kind of AP I can buy, as well if I can Super Nova again, and just keep the process going after re-tweaking my Automation time. This seems to be working well.

So, the long and the short of it, is that patience *was* key here.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions!

Eternities help since they provide bonuses, but EP/s is the real goal for a while, as you may think you're gaining EPs faster by doing 'instant' runs but you're always going to be getting a much lower EP/s that way. There's a limit to how long a run can go before EP/s start going down, but I've seen that limit go higher and higher as I progressed.

Yeah, the EP/s is starting to increase slightly over time. I'm still early enough in everything where it is more efficient to do very short runs. I'm always monitoring EP/s and tweak things based on what's best.

I have no idea what you all are talking about. I am at the 1 million IP Wall and don´t know what to do other then wait for it to fill up.
I make 1k IP every 1-2 min. ...

There's no wall, there's always a way to progress, either by finding the best points per second you can have, or buying something that speeds things up (generators are a huge thing early in the game, and then stars, and then, well, a lot of other things.)

The whole game pre-"Dilation Tree" update took me only two months to beat, and I wasn't even actively playing it most of that time (background apps are background apps.)

I just hit Dilation a bit ago. I'm assuming it'll take some time for me to hit the tree? But I finally hit that point of the game where EP/s is kinda irrelevant as now I'm just trying to get my Dilation progress going.

Thanks for the help once again, both here and in other threads that I read your comments on!

It took me two months to get to the point where the game used to run out of things to do, but I wasn't bothering optimizing and mostly let the game play itself. Someone who's actually trying to get it done quickly may be able to get to the Tree much faster.

EP/s isn't irrelevant for Dilation - you need lab boosts, animals and supernovas to make Dilation go faster (as well as triggering Dilation itself at times,) and those need you to get EPs. Also, eternities matter, if you don't have at least a few hundred thousands of them, things will be going much slower.

I had two million eternities before the update - that helped me get a nice head start, and the Dilation Tree has an upgrade that gives passive Eternities (like the upgrade that gives Infinities) so I'm close to a billion now.
